"The type of laser $BURU specializes in would not be effective in any type of anti-drone system since tracking for the required time would be virtually impossible with their R&D budget. It would take 5-10 seconds to burn a hole through a drone layer if held perfectly still. These drones are often flying too fast for that. I say all this because it is important for people to focus on realistic expectations. Not pie in the sky theoretical applications. $BURU needs to focus first on selling their actual product. The laser welding is nice. If they cant sell that they arent ready to develop laser"
