"I agree that the $YB token is pointless (or rather it is pure extraction farming) and it should have been a Curve product solely. That is my core point as well. But I am assuming that @CurveFinance $veCRV takes the normal cut from the underlying Curve pool. Which is better than nothing. And it also brings liquidity with some $BTC assets (and later on $ETH) which is good if the $crvUSD is used as a main stablecoin to exchange. But the question is are those gains worth the risk undertaken and the value freely give to the extractive $YB scheme"

"On @CurveFinance If you lock $CRV into $veCRV you will gain voting rights voting incentives and protocol revenue but you must lock your tokens for X years(max). On @ConvexFinance you can convert $CRV to $cvxCRV (or swap on the secondary market). This allows you to earn $veCRV revenue without the 4-year lockup but you give up $veCRV voting rights. $cvxCRV s voting rights are held by $vlCVX holders"
