"From the Constellation Software carnage so far it looks like we should have all just bought Lumine Group $LMN.V $LMGIF instead of more $CSU $CSU.TO $CNSWF. I've always been the least enthusiastic about this spin-off vs. Topicus $TOI.V $TOITF. In fact the only reason I added to it last month is because I was so annoyed with how tiny that spinoff value was. Added XXX to round it out to 1k. Didn't even get the bottom not even close yet $LMN.V still up 11-16% on those lots. If only $CSU would join. On a related note have bluntly said this in a couple replies yet it seems to be a topic too taboo"

There isnt any other way a company as big as Constellation Software could successfully identify evaluate and acquire so many businesses each year that meet the stringent criteria of the company. This decentralized culture has been essential for the companys success but it also has the added benefit of significantly reducing key person risk. Since decision making is spread throughout the company no one person has the sole responsibility of making decisions on acquisitions. This added"
