"Lot to unpack here my friend. $NKE and $ADIDAS built an apparel business when there was nobody focused on athletic apparel. Was an add on category and thats how they always treated it. Today thats not the case. Both $UAA and $LULU historical apparel brands try to go into footwear and aren't very good so the game has changed. But can't see $NKE giving up its position in apparel - not like that will automatically just flow through to $LULU if they buy them. Plus history of M&A in this world is an absolute disaster outside of niche brands that $VFC operates"
