"On Friday 10/10 we saw $19bn in liquidations in the crypto markets It was a bloodbath and a uniquely historic event The reason it happened though was not what you may imagine it was predominantly down to failures at Binance The single best source I've found online to explain what happened are these posts by @yq_acc I really recommend reading them when you have some time There's a lot to read here though if you want a simpler and quicker explanation then follow my blog as I'll be posting about the crash tomorrow"
