"Very well said. We dont know what the Skydance offer was. I would assume it was a low ball. I doubt daddy really wanted him to buy a company with $101B in debt. I think WBD has always wanted Comcast to take them since their merger. It would most likely be a merger and not an outright sale. Comcast could absorb that debt no problem and refinance it over XXX years. Thats the benefit of being an infrastructure company first. Banks arent worried about them failing and will be happy to make that X% per year over XXX years. Entertainment companies dont get those favorable loans"
