I think these make sense longterm, probably more so than just holding ETH itself, especially if you believe Tom's "Wall Street put" thesis, or if you want longterm accretive ETH exposure without having to deal with staking etc on your own. Plus, I think these eventually have a dividend and will make sense a lot of sense for retirement accounts. 

So if you're going to hodl through the bear anyway, I don't see how these wouldn't outperform holding native ETH
