The Trump admin's XX% tariffs—highest since 1930—have burned $904B into our trade deficit. Now they're betting Stockholm talks can mask their economic arson with temporary pauses. Stockholm Syndrome for trade policy.  

April's "reciprocal tariffs" crashed markets within days, yet new sectoral taxes loom August XX. Courts already ruled emergency tariffs unconstitutional (appeals start July 31), while China's XXX% retaliations gut US exports. Trump praised Xi's fentanyl "progress" last week as XX% crisis tariffs remain—deal-making theater masking systemic failure.
