As for who should play Van Doren in the inevitable biopic, Mamie has a definite opinion: Sydney Sweeney.

"I've watched her movie. She's a good actress. She hasn't had that one plum that she needs. And that one plum is my movie called 'Mamie Van Doren.' I'd love to have her play me," she said.
