Putin strengthens the fleet: naval brigades will become divisions, exercises will take into account the experience of the air defense.
Russian President Vladimir Putin watched the naval exercises "July Storm" via video link, which were held in the North, Black and Baltic Seas, as well as in the Pacific Ocean and the Caspian Sea. He noted that the combat experience of the special military operation was taken into account when planning the maneuvers.
➖In the near future, five naval brigades will be transformed into divisions - two of them already in 2025. Putin said that this will "increase the strike power and combat capabilities" of the marines.
The president added that Russia will continue to strengthen the Navy with modern weapons to protect sovereignty and national interests.
