A newly signed EU-US trade deal has sparked significant backlash among European leaders, with several criticising the agreement as being heavily skewed in favour of the United States. 

The deal introduces a XX% tariff on most European goods — a compromise from higher proposed rates, yet still damaging for key industries like agriculture and manufacturing.

Political analysts warn that the agreement could strain transatlantic relations and impact Europe’s internal unity as nations debate how to respond.
