Over the course of two days, the Bangkok Post’s website and Facebook platform were hit by a series of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, causing periodic disruptions and rendering certain pages inaccessible. In total, the attacks exceeded XXX million requests, overwhelming the system at multiple points. In response, the Post has applied country restriction settings on Facebook to limit access from Cambodian IP addresses. The measure has proven partially effective, significantly reducing the volume of malicious activity, though some content continues to bypass the filter.
