The team pressed with intensity, kept calm on the ball, and looked much more organised. Ugarte was everywhere again, winning balls, pressing high, and even setting up Amad’s offside goal. He’s looking like the perfect partner for Mainoo in midfield. Højlund worked his socks off. He didn’t score, but his pressing was non-stop. With better chances, the goals will come. Patrick Dorgu continues to impress. He’s been sharp all pre-season and looks ready for the Premier League. At the back, Yoro was calm and composed. De Ligt defended well, clearing dangerous balls. Heaven did okay, though he could’ve done better for their first goal. The team played well overall. Pressing hard off the ball, and composed when in possession. One change I’d love to see? Dalot at right wing-back. Amad cuts inside a lot, but Dalot would give us more width.
