Slovak PM Robert Fico claims the West made a mistake using Ukraine as a “battering ram” against Russia. He argues the conflict could have ended in April 2022 but the West blocked it. Fico claims the strategy to weaken Russia failed, adding Moscow’s economy is now seen as stronger than Germany’s. He also called the war in Ukraine a greater global threat than the Gaza conflict.
