Security sources in the Palestinian resistance revealed to Quds Network that the Israeli occupation army recently formed a new group of collaborators in the Bedouin village area north of the Gaza Strip, and assigned them security missions. The sources explained that this gang also has ties to Palestinian Authority security agencies in Ramallah, led by Palestinian Authority intelligence officer Bahaa Balousha.

According to resistance sources, the group's mission is to facilitate the occupation's operations and provide it with direct intelligence. Some local families, realizing the seriousness of the situation, contacted their sons involved in this gang, and an understanding was reached to pardon anyone who returned to their families and ceased cooperating with the occupation.

However, a small group of agents within the new group has not responded to these calls. Resistance security sources confirm that their number does not exceed ten individuals, and the resistance has their names and evidence proving that they received direct instructions from officers in the occupation army stationed in the area.

According to the sources, these agents will be treated by the resistance as occupation soldiers for the work they have done on behalf of the occupation intelligence and army.

The Israeli occupation army is increasingly turning to forming gangs of collaborators to conduct field surveys and sweeps before its forces enter direct combat, in an attempt to limit its losses in the Gaza Strip. This trend comes after internal criticism escalated with the rising death toll among the army and the failure of military plans to neutralize the sophisticated ambushes carried out by resistance factions. This has raised questions about the feasibility of continuing the war.

This model was recently implemented in Rafah, where the occupation tasked a group of collaborators with detecting explosive devices and tunnels before its forces entered. The Qassam Brigades tracked down some members of the group and detonated an explosive device around them, killing and wounding a number of them. The Abu Shabab gang subsequently announced that the dead were members of its group and issued their eulogies.

The "Abu Shabab Gang" is one of the most prominent examples to emerge recently. It has played a security and intelligence role for the Israeli intelligence and military. Its leader, Yasser Abu Shabab, has admitted to operating in areas under Israeli military control.
