I know multiple people in FAANG companies that are on VISAs making the same or higher than new hires. Have you been in for awhile? I see (outside of SV as its own island) across the nation H1Bs only getting hired, and when the odd chance an American does get hired, its at the same or less than H1B.

I reposted an interesting thing regarding this. I am guessing maybe you have been in for awhile and they just decided to pay much less -- to everyone H1B/American (and now they make the same) -- and your wave was just paid higher in general? Let me know, because what you're saying seems to not be how it is at most other companies where Americans aren't getting jobs (only H1B), and when they do its the same or less than H1B.
