BTC L1 almost forces patience, which ironically protects the purity. Scaling could definitely carve out a UX-friendly lane, but yeah, once speed and liquidity dominate, it’s hard to go back. ETH and SOL feel like they've evolved into high-frequency marketplaces more than collector ecosystems.

So maybe the future is layered, L1 for the soul, L2s for the speed junkies. You think builders will lean into that split or try to merge both worlds somehow.
