Another American striker in the English Championship.

Charlton Athletic have signed USMNT-eligible striker Charlie Kelman from QPR for a fee reported around £3.5 million.

Kelman just had an outstanding season on loan with Leyton Orient, where he scored XX goals in all competitions and claimed the League One Golden Boot.

His Leyton Orient side fell to Charlton in the play-off final. Two months later, he’s joined them to help them fight in the Championship.

Born in England, the 23-year-old grew up in Texas before moving back to England as a teenager. He’s played for the U.S. youth teams.

Josh Sargent, Damion Downs, Patrick Agyemang, Daryl Dike, and Haji Wright are other American strikers in the Championship.
