China conducted a major joint military exercise called "Strait Thunder-2025A" around Taiwan, involving land, sea, air, and rocket forces of the PLA Eastern Theater Command.

The drills included live-fire exercises, with at least XX aircraft and several warships participating, some crossing Taiwan Strait median line and entering Taiwan's airspace and waters.

Exercises focused on blockade enforcement, area control, precision strikes on key targets, joint operation capabilities, and combined arms training against "Taiwan independence" separatist activities.
