🚨🇳🇬 NIGERIA BOAT TRAGEDY: XX DEAD, DOZENS MISSING AFTER MARKET TRIP CAPSIZES

🔹A wooden boat carrying ~100 passengers to market capsized in Niger State, killing XX and leaving dozens missing. Only XX were rescued—mostly women and children. 

🔹Authorities suspect overloading, a frequent cause of boat disasters in the region. Rescue efforts paused briefly for river rituals. 

🔹The driver survived but couldn’t confirm passenger numbers. This comes just X months after a similar deadly incident in the state.
