Yep - As a Christian - I'd rather talk to Jesus directly and let him be my intercessor - 

Somehow I don't feel the need to tell a flawed man who is also a sinner my sins so he can relay my prayer to God - If you feel the need that's your choice.

That's what I believe - Directness is better than having any other intermediary other than Jesus.  That's why we say "in Jesus name" after every prayer.
