If the figure wasn’t Pachamama, why didn’t they clarify it when millions of Catholics were scandalized? And let’s be real: calling her “Mother Earth” in a religious ceremony, placing her in a sacred garden, and allowing acts of prostration is religious veneration—regardless of who said the word first. This isn’t about who said “Pachamama” first. It’s about what happened. People bowed to an Earth mother statue on sacred ground. No word games change that.
