In #China’s #BoxOffice, reboot #TheFantasticFour almost beats #ShazamFuryOfTheGods for the title of lowest opening for CBMs locally, with #TheFantasticFourFirstSteps grossing $4.4M on its 3-day weekend (vs #Shazam2 $4.3M, #Thunderbolts* $5.6M, #WakandaForever’s $6M, #SUPERMAN $6.7M), after grossing soft $905k in #7 place on SUN over 19k screenings (-21k from yesterday), harsh -XXXX% from SAT.

WOM seems mixed.
Ticket buyers score on Maoyan remain under wraps (never a good sign when exhibitors hide the score), while audiences score on Douban remain as a low 6.2⭐️, which is already lower than the previous #FantasticFour  films.

$45k in pre-sales for MON, when it will play over 15k screenings (-4k from today)
