What happens when deep fork is revealed that is heavier than the existing chain?

Lets use the example of a fork that reorgs back a full day.

#Bitcoin

Nodes verify the heaviest chain is valid and switch to it. This is an automatic process.

If an attacker reveals a heavier chain, the network will automatically switch to the attackers chain, and continue mining on top of it.

#Kaspa

Nodes have a finality depth. Anything beyond finality depth is final, immutable, and cannot be changed.

If an attacker reveals a heavier DAG, the network will automatically flag it, log a warning, and continue mining on the existing chain.
