Having #Rihanna as #Smurfette definitely didn’t help #Paramount’s new animation #SMURFS at US #BoxOffice!

With terrible promo and mixed WOM, the animation grossed just 5.4M on 2nd 3-day weekend, dropping -XXXX% from an already low opening, reaching a 22.8M cume.

The animation with a 58M production price tag will have to pray for overseas markets to save it.

Eyeing a 33M-36M run in the U.S.
