China's labor costs are now higher than most of the planet. It continues to lead because it has more industrial robots installed than everyone else combined. The robot table is for 2023, but there is a fresher number for China: XXX million in 2025, up XX% from 2024. Number for others are mostly flat or up 2%-5%.

China has more industrial robots than Japan+south Korea+US+Germany+France+Mexico+Vietnam+Spain+India+UK+Brazil.

Only US, Japan and Germany of large population countries have higher wages than China.
