I got a full scholarship to a school at the age of XX & moved over to Australia leaving my family behind to chase my dream of becoming a professional footy player.

After X years playing footy in Australia, I came to a crossroads... My team was on the bus ready to head to rep training & I didn’t get on the bus... Everyone thought I was joking when I said I wasn’t coming to training (don’t worry, I didn’t just leave my team high and dry)

I walked to my car instead & wanted to go to the golf course so badly that it didn’t matter if it was pouring rain. I wanted to play golf so badly rather than play Rugby League.
