Drones, EW, and decentralised strikes don’t replace tanks or long-range missiles, but they reshape the battlefield. They weaken supply lines, blind air defences, and drain manpower. That enables offensives. Ukraine still needs heavy weapons to punch through, but it’s tech like this that sets the conditions for a breakthrough, not just brute force. There’s also every chance Russia could economically implode, then we might walk into the occupied areas without a shot even being fired.
