There's a catch here. Comparing nominal per capita GDP between provinces of countries where implied exchange factor is skewed (for ex: X for India and X for China) doesn't make much sense.

Look at PPP PC. TN/KA/HR/TG/GJ are on par with Brazil's 23K  PPP per capita.
