There is unhinged misinformation pushed by angry feminists who claim “Incels hacking the app” even though there was no malicious code or intrusion found, just extremely poor OPSEC by the app programmers. But this needs to be a warning that we all should be wary of giving out our personal information on any app out there, including Uber. Given their recent idea of implementing users to remove male drivers from their app this is similar to the doxxing app, Tea to which I have mentioned above also allowed doxxing and harassment of men who were rejected by the potential partner in a relationship. The criticism against this idea by Uber is justified and the memes are hilarious. No one should be labeled as a “misogynist” for criticizing this idea.
