Neuralink Joins ‘Smart Bionic Eye’ Trial!

Elon Musk’s Neuralink is now part of a groundbreaking clinical trial to develop a Smart Bionic Eye , a device that could help the blind see using AI and brain-chip technology.

Partnering with the University of California and researchers in Spain, Neuralink aims to restore vision by bypassing damaged eyes and sending visual signals directly to the brain using its new Blindsight chip.

If successful, this could redefine how we treat blindness no cameras, no glasses, just a direct brain interface.

Human trials are expected by 2030, with hopes to scale up by 2031.
