I like your thinking, I am leaning towards it not being a diamond bottom just because $TEL doesn't really do that pattern ever. I tried drawing it, but it just didn't feel right you know? But it is such a good question. Diamond bottoms are pretty rare, so it would be cool to see in the wild. Things that are common for $TEL are Flags/pennant, channels, triangles, double tops/bottoms. You've inspired me, I'll put something out.
