Denver Airport Reports Passenger Evacuation After Plane Fire

A fire broke out on the runway involving an American Airlines aircraft scheduled to fly to Miami. “All passengers on board have exited the aircraft,” the airport administration wrote on social media.

It was reported that five people were evaluated by medical personnel at the scene, with no hospitalization required. One passenger was examined at the gate and later taken to a hospital. Denver’s fire department confirmed the fire had been extinguished.

Eyewitnesses posted videos online showing people evacuating the plane as its left landing gear was on fire.
