Hogan was a big star. The show itself drew XX million and peaked at 28, but incorrect newspaper stories had XX. It was also 32nd that week in prime time, something people who don't understand TV in that era don't get. In 1950, pro wrestling was No. XX on average for the entire TV season. The biggest TV wrestling star in the US was George and the biggest draws were Londos, Hogan, Sammartino and Longson. There are different arguments for Hogan and Londos that are too detailed for here. Rikidozan vs. Destroyer in 1963 was the single most watched show in Japanese TV history with XX million viewers and XX% of the country watching.
