Some immediate Amed Rosario takeaways...

Makes plenty of sense for the #Yankees. They've been in on Rosario in the past. The veteran infielder provides depth and an alternative at third base when the Yankees face lefties (a big weakness for Ryan McMahon). Rosario has mashed against LHP in his career. He also puts the ball in play and rarely strikes out overall. He's hitting .270 this year with a XXX wRC+ and an xBA of .307.

While he's not a great defender, Rosario can be used at many different positions. He has experience in the outfield even. Either he'll take Aaron Judge's spot on the active roster or this means the end of the line for Oswald Peraza.
