I literally have hundreds of pages of books of the mainstream press in the US that Londos & Lewis got.  It's not even remotely comparable.  Hogan & WWE would come to SF, usually no mention in any newspaper, almost never a mention on TV news.  And in Japan, wrestling was always all over the daily sports papers in that same era. Mexico as well.
