Eight closures of Michelin star restaurants in Singapore 

At July 24, 2025 Michelin Guide Singapore ceremony, one restaurant received star but closes soon. From 2022-2025, two- and three-star lists stable; one-star dropped from XX in 2024 to XX in 2025. Eight closures: Art di Daniele Sperindio (reopening), Chef Kang’s, Matera, Oshino, Poise, Shinji, Sommer, Sushi Kimura. Rhubarb (10 years) rebranded to casual Encore. Terra Tokyo Italian dropped; Sushi Sakuta promoted to two stars. No new stars from XXXXX openings in 2024. XXXXX closures in 2024, near 20-year high (3,352 in 2005)
