🇪🇺🇺🇦 EU SLASHES UKRAINE AID – €1.5B OFF THE TABLE (FOR NOW)

Brussels just cut Ukraine’s next payout under the €50B Ukraine Facility - slashing the expected €4.5B tranche down to €3.05B.

Why? Officially: slow reforms. 

Unofficially: a fresh anti-corruption mess and concerns about NABU/SAPO independence.

Kyiv only hit XX of XX required reforms. 

The holdouts? Judge appointments, decentralization, and reforming ARMA - the asset recovery agency that’s long been a black hole.

The missing €1.5B isn’t dead yet - Ukraine has XX months to clean house and collect. 

But this delay hits hard, with war costs rising and EU patience thinning.
