There will be individuals, who in the now will self report improvement (in the past studies that was primarily the homosexual women because they got from transition what they were seeking- a way to be with their partner without violence, legally, etc). But you also have to look at the whole picture- including long term physical health. And as a society we get to factor in the societal costs of the disruption caused by transition. So when all of that is factored in- then we see an experiment that does not have safe outcomes, or efficacious outcomes, with societal level disruptions which makes it not something that should be encouraged, covered by any insurance, or considered a ‘treatment’ Finally at its core trans attacks gender non confirming individuals- who are primarily homosexuals- and pushes regressive homophobic ideas. So when judged by all rational mechanisms the overall concept of the trans experiment on society is a failure regardless of a few people claiming it brought them happiness.
