XX July 1955. El Al Flight XXX (London–Paris–Vienna–Tel Aviv) Lockheed L-049 Constellation 4X-AKC was shot down by two Bulgarian MiG-15 over Bulgarian airspace, killing all aboard, X crew and XX passengers. The deadliest loss of a Constellation up to that time.
