Trump’s Dec 30, 2024 Truth Social lie about $11M Beyoncé payments wasn’t a mistake—it was a blueprint. Endorsement payments are LEGAL if disclosed, yet he weaponizes this fiction to jail critics.  

The admin’s DOJ “strike force” has pursued 37+ political targets since January, from subpoenaing Letitia James (who beat Trump in court) to arresting a Milwaukee judge for blocking deportations. With XX% of federal courts ruling against them in May, they’ve turned to Supreme Court emergency orders to bypass democracy.  

When prosecutors become attack dogs, democracy’s the defendant.
