I’ve been to churches where it’s XX mins of music, yelling and QR codes to scan and donate. Made my skin crawl. No thanks. Our churches have been highly infiltrated. This won’t be popular to some but you do not “need” to attend church. It can be a place where like minded people gather but I have yet to find one that feels authentic. Nah. God isn’t impressed with a religious routine of Sunday church. He wants a personal relationship with you. I talk to God all day. I pray during the day with brief conversation and a thank you and a help me. Literally all day long, some days more than others. I talk to Him sometimes even out loud at home. Always with thanksgiving. Religion and legalism had made it seem like we have to do all of these things and not do things and on and on. He wants your heart. Once you truly trust and believe Christ is your one and only God and that He died for you, that’s it. It’s that simple. The rest falls into place. Sometimes quickly, sometimes it’s a long journey of trials but you’re saved. That’s it. The closer your relationship is with Him, the more you want to please Him NATURALLY. It’s not a chore. It’s not something I feel I have to do. I actually feel bad if I fall asleep without thanking Him for the day. He’s IN YOU, all you have to do is ASK. Wholeheartedly ask. HE LOVES YOU. He’s waiting. Best thing I ever did in my Entire life. THANK YOU JESUS for forgiving and loving me, even though I don’t deserve it.
