It's been XX years since I've reached the age of reason, and for the first time this evening, I saw the connect between the asks and you will receive and the father not giving his child a scorpion or snake. The latter helps us understanding that when we "ask" & "receive" a "no" answer to our prayer, that God's "no" is still loving answer, even if we don't know it. The "no" will never be a "snake" or a "scorpion."
