Trump's admin confirmed just ONE federal judge since January despite GOP Senate control - now demands unconstitutional recess appointments to bypass scrutiny.  

The 2014 SCOTUS *Noel Canning* ruling already neutered this tactic: recesses under XX days don't count, and appointees expire in 2027. Yet Trump pushes temporary hires like Gaetz for AG - nominees so toxic they can't survive confirmation. Senate Republicans enable this charade by slow-walking 150+ picks while feigning urgency about "working through August."  

When presidents treat constitutional checks as nuisance rather than duty, they torch the very framework they swore to protect.
