The first problem I noticed is High Gas Costs from Onchain Verification

you may think “Why does it even matter”? 

It matters because defi protocols that verify ZK proofs onchain face high gas costs, making privacy and advanced computation too expensive for many users.

How does Cysic now deal with that problem?

From what I’ve observed, Cysic does that with offchain hardware acceleration. Cysic allows proofs to be generated quickly and cheaply offchain, then submitted onchain efficiently.
• Offloads proving workload to external hardware
• Reduces onchain computation → lower gas costs
• Makes zkML, private transactions, and advanced DeFi logic viable for real users

In summary,
Cysic isn’t just optimizing speed, it’s making ZK-based DeFi actually usable and cysic cuts ZK proof times from minutes to seconds using custom hardware. That speeds up transactions and lowers costs for DeFi.
