🇬🇧 OZZY’S GENES WEREN’T JUST METAL - THEY WERE SCIENCE GOLD

When only XXX people on Earth had ever been genome-sequenced, Ozzy Osbourne joined the list.

Scientists wanted to know how a man who survived decades of drugs, alcohol, neck-breaking quad crashes, and medically dying twice was still walking around cracking jokes.

The results? Ozzy had rare mutations in genes related to addiction, nerve function, and alcohol processing - plus a sprinkle of Neanderthal DNA for flavor.

His variant of the CLTCL1 protein looked nothing like the normal version, and it could explain why his nervous system behaved like it had its own tour manager.

Basically, the man who fronted Black Sabbath also helped crack open the human genome industry before 23andMe was a stocking stuffer.

Even in science, Ozzy’s still biting heads off expectations.
