Today, HUD celebrates X years of the Foster Youth to Independence initiative responsible for finding stable housing for over XXXXX young adults transitioning from the foster care system.

Thank you to @FLOTUS for being a champion for foster youth and attaining valuable funding for this program so we can continue to serve this at-risk community.

And none of this would be possible without @RealBenCarson, the visionary who set this initiative into motion.

Looking ahead, we will continue to work with the Office of the First Lady and stakeholders around the country to ensure the foster youth community is well-established in stable housing — a key foundation on which they can chart a new path for their life.
