umm, the risk he identified hasn't disappeared; it's just moved up the stack. We just saw the ~$100M+ Curve exploit in 2023. Has the fundamental risk of catastrophic smart contract failure gone away, or has it just been transferred to the now multi-billion dollar application layer?
