First of all, I don't work for the National Post and I never have.  I was a freelance columnist. However, I'm a fan and well-wisher of the NP.

Second, @mohamadfakih8 claims in the video that these women and kids who've just arrived from Gaza are the people that "the Israeli government is starving," and they've been living off trees and something else that is incomprehensible from his accent. If the point is to show that these are people who have been starving, this just doesn't prove it. 

There's no question there's suffering occurring in Gaza but exaggerating the situation of these particular asylum seekers does not help their cause. It only makes them appear much less credible.
