#HappyGilmore2 is an overly long, bloated sequel filled with flashbacks, cameos, and occasional Grown Ups 2-style humor. The original is my favorite Sandler movie from the ’90s, but this one lacks that underdog charm and feels more like a comedy version of Rocky V (the one where he goes broke). I enjoyed revisiting Happy—I laughed my ass off a handful of times, and it’s one of Sandler’s better films in years. But unlike the original, it’ll have zero rewatchability.
